Puzzle Pieces

When we embark on a puzzle, we trust that all the pieces are present and will come together seamlessly. Similarly, why should our perception of God’s plan be any different? Just as we have faith that the puzzle pieces will ultimately form a beautiful picture, we can trust that life’s journey will unfold as it should. Even when we’re faced with uncertainty or missing pieces, we can rely on the same trust that guides us through the puzzle-making process, knowing that every experience is an opportunity for growth and transformation.

Philippians 1:6 says,”Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Words of Wisdom!

No matter what, trust God. Trust Him even when you can’t see the whole plan or picture.

Pray for wisdom and discernment; it helps with decision-making.

Your story isn’t over; keep going. You are one prayer away from your breakthrough.

Let go of the weight of yesterday; it’s too heavy to carry.

Stay locked in and pray, and when you pray, cover your prayer with protection because Satan hears you too.

Before you ask anybody about anything, ask God.

Know that when you’re doing well, not everyone will support you, and some may become envious of you.

It takes a healthy village to navigate life; choose wisely.

Heal or you will bleed on others or you will allow others to bleed on you.

Save for a rainy day because life happens.

Be a person of good character, set high standards and enforce them.

Be true to thine own self.

Practice Discipleship.

Live, Love, and Laugh.

Time reveals ALL.

Invest wisely.

Philippians 4:6 (NIV), says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”.

Matthew 6:33,(NIV), says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 16:24 (NIV), says, “Take up your cross, and follow me”.

Be a Light!

Throughout history a light has been a symbol of life or rescue. The lighthouse is a navigational aid or beacon for those at sea or a waterway. The Star of Bethlehem led the Magi along their path to see our newly born King. In a world that can be filled with much darkness, let’s honor God’s word as it is written in Matthew 5:16, “Be a light for all to see”. Be kind, smile, help someone or shine from within by believing in the magnificent you.

Harvest is Imminent

While traveling along a detoured route, I noticed there was wheat growing along the roadside. For a moment, I was in awe because I saw no wheat fields and it was as though the wheat had just suddenly appeared. Then I realized why God had me navigating along that rural route.

Life is a seed planted. When a planter plants a seed, a harvest is expected. However, in order for the seed to grow and blossom, it must be planted in the right soil or environment to ensure proper nurturing and cultivating or the seed will stagnate or deteriorate.

As I researched the phenomenon, I learned perennial wheat can grow along a highway, or the roadside shoulders for it could thrive in a variety of circumstances.

No matter your circumstances, don’t grow weary in well doing, for in due time you will reap a harvest. Remain planted in good soil and the right environment. Continue reading God’s word and abiding by it and the Holy Spirit to ensure alignment with God’s will, for your harvest is imminent. Oh by the way, you may have to take a detoured route and that’s okay.

1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out”.

Proverbs 3:6, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”.

James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you”.

Psalm 35:27, “God delights in giving us good things”.

Obey God!

The journey of life can be filled with many crooks and turns. At times it may feel like you are riding a roller coaster. In all thy ways acknowledge God and he WILL direct the path of the righteous ones through his Holy Spirit: prophets, signs, wonders, dreams and revelations. Remain steadfast and anchored in him and he will see you through.

John 10:27-28 says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand”.

Matthew 2:12-13 says, “And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.”

1 Samuel 15:22 says, “But Samuel replied: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams”.

Exodus 14:21-29 says, “Moses raised his hand over the Red Sea, and the LORD caused a strong wind to blow from the east. The wind blew all night long. The sea split, and the wind made the ground dry. The Israelites went through the sea on dry land”.

The Grace & Glory of God

Oh my! Grace and glory are a dynamic duo. Grace is underserved favor from God, while glory is praise and honor. Knowing this should afford you much comfort in trusting that in every season God’s grace is sufficient. Remain patient and walk in purpose while being still in knowing God is always present. In the midst of all, allow the light on the inside of you to be brighter than the light shined on you. Why? Because after the affliction the glory of God will revive, renew and restore you into an era of exceedingly, and abundantly above all you could ever ask for think or imagine.

Romans 12:12
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer”.

Psalm 84:11
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly”.

Ebb and Flow

Life has chapters, seasons, or ebbs and flows. Our journey through life can be a complicated maze filled with lots of ups and downs or abundance or lack. Our last season nationally was a drought, but the dawn of a new season has ushered in. No matter the season God reminds us that he is with us. Don’t worry. Don’t give up. The forecast looks better. John 7:38 says, “Life is not like the tide of the sea which rises and falls; it is like a river which flows forever with living water “.

The Second Half

Anyone that knows anything about football knows halftime is when adjustments are made. As the teams enter the locker room, some are down and some are up, and all focus is placed on the coach as the second half game plan is drafted. After the halftime discussion the team eagerly exits the locker room ready to execute the game plan. As the teams walk down the tunnel towards the field, their excitement builds. As the teams positions themselves on the field, their coach looks onward as the football is kicked to commence the second half. There is an eagerness to determine whether the team will properly execute the game plan because many games are won in the second half.

Have you accessed your life and heard the still quiet voice of God and knew it was time for adjustments? Just like the football coach, the father, son and the holy spirit is your coach. However, many don’t sit still long enough to hear the voice of God. Allow God to draft your second half game plan and execute it without hesitation.

In life, the second half can occur after you have simply had enough and surrendered it all, during a major event, life crisis, at mid-life or on the first day of the second half of the year, July 1st. If you are in your second half, whether up or down, execute God’s game plan well. Doing so will require sincere prayer, self-reflection, accountability, the breaking of dysfunctional generational cycles, determination and consistency to garner winning results.

There is much light on the football field and in your second half. Be assured, the God ordained deposits you made in the first half will garner huge dividends in the second half upon execution of God’s game plan. If you made few deposits in the first half, humble yourself and be accountable for your actions, repent, turn from sin and speak to God and request his game plan for your life.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Psalm 34:8 NIV – Oh taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.

The Wealth of Peace

Many spend year’s searching for peace in the physical by trying to obtain status or material possessions, but peace is spiritual. Peace is defined as a state of being free from war or disturbance and in a state of tranquility. Philippians 4:7 reminds us, “and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”. Often those on a quest to seek peace, create war within themselves and can cause collateral damage for those deeply connected to them. Take a moment to think about how you define peace and how you may be projecting your lack thereof onto others. Read God’s word, which is our life’s blueprint and allow it to marinate in your spirit and its directions to be displayed in your life. God is an all seeing and an all-knowing God. Man can be fooled, but we serve God that knows all. Surrender what troubles you and take accountability for the role you may play in your lack of peace. Make meaningful change and obtain counseling as needed. For anyone that has made it their intention to live a life of peace, keep pressing forward and remain in alignment. Don’t allow anything or anyone to take you off of your course.
