The Path Foward

As this year comes to close, many are asking for clarity on the path they must take heading into the New Year. My message is clear, God knows the path we must take. Lately, each time I’ve used my GPS, the system automatically populated my destination, drive time and the best route. If my GPS knew where I was headed, surely GOD does. No matter how uncertain your path may be, please know your life is in his hands. Believe, It’s Your Winning Season.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

God Speaks: The Benefits of Prayer and Meditation

In today’s fast moving busy world we can find ourselves juggling many responsibilities. These responsibilities and their deadlines can make us feel overwhelmed. What do you do when overwhelmed? I pray and meditate daily. Why? Because God speaks when we pray and meditate. Prayer and meditation soothe the soul and creates the atmosphere to open the channel to hear God’s still quiet voice. Prayer allows a place to lay our requests upon God. Meditation connects us to God in stillness. God wants to help us, guide us, and guard us. Be still today and follow his instructions.

A Life Surrendered

As the sun shines upon a new day, I am reminded God’s mercies are new every day. Isaiah 43:19 says, “Behold, I WILL do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Please know, God is in control of your life. Every morning, God’s River of mercies flows fresh into us. He knows the path we must take. The hills we must climb. The valleys we must endure. Trust that God knows what’s best. Live a life surrendered. Surrendered means, to cease resistance and submit to authority. I know this can be hard, especially for anyone that’s used to being in control. Please know, there is beauty in surrendering. Think of it this way, aren’t you excited when opening a gift? Cast your cares upon the Lord today. Meditate on his word. His mercies are new, and his gift is everlasting. Until next time, take care.

Hold the Rope!

Have you ever encountered a desert or desolate place? A place where your faith is tested. A place where you have read God’s holy word and surrendered everything to him, but everything still seems to be falling a part. What do you do while in a season of waiting? Hold the rope! Find the knot, place both hands around it, hold on, sway if you must, but DO NOT let go. Hold on to your:

– Faith
– Courage
– Strength
– Patience
– Endurance
– Determination
– Praise and Worship

Move ONLY when you have felt the nudging of the spirit/universe or have heard the still quiet voice of God. Watch him work! He certainly will! Remember those footprints in the sand? Deuteronomy 1:30-31

Inner Voice

I am often asked how I find the content for my blog. First, lets change content to message. A message is delivered, or shall I say, received. I blog from the heart. My message is birthed from within. The source of inspiration, or “the root” of the message is derived from overcoming life challenges, or reflecting on life experiences. The message is short and specific and it is delivered when the spirit leads me to share it. The nudge to share the message often comes after a period of reflection, learning, or growth. Blogging is solace for me. I have a sincere desire to be a beacon of light for a hurting world. I know this is my divine purpose. Your comments and private messages further confirms this. How are you using your life experiences or inner voice? The Universe speaks if you will listen.

Breathe and Let Go!

“Breathe! Let go and remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.” Oprah Winfrey

What a powerful reminder of the importance of being present; mindful. Soak in the reality of what’s around you. Grow where improvement is needed. Change the things that bother you. Meditate to release worry, fear and anxiety. Take a spirit or nature walk. Relax under the sun. Watch the sunrise and sunset. Be fair! Set healthy boundaries and demand others adhere to them. Live! Love! Laugh! Now, breathe and let go. You are worth receiving all that you desire.

If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s to LIVE in the moment. There are no guarantees for tomorrow. Show love and kindness! Live unselfishly! Take nothing for granted. Do better in the areas where you know you are not giving your best. Most importantly, be grateful that you still have life. Many people did not survive the pandemic.

Soar Like an Eagle!

The eagle is man’s connection to the divine. It conveys the powers and messages of spirit. Its symbolism is freedom, honesty, strength, courage and victory. Life can bring many challenges, disappointments and triumphs. During challenging times, will you bend or break? Bending feels like you are losing the race. Breaking feels like all hope is lost. Don’t grow weary! Don’t break! Stay in the race! Eventually new life and a fresh wind will appear beneath you to lift you. Next time you see an eagle, count its presence as victory; evidence of God’s goodness.

Soar! Much love and light!
